Dr. Randall Polgar, D.C.
Dr. Randall was inspired to become a chiropractor at a young age. After receiving his Bachelors in Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, he followed up with a Masters in Science from the University of Lund in Sweden. Just before moving onto his PhD, Randall switched gears and returned to his childhood vision of becoming a chiropractor. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2016.
While his background in science greatly informs his current research interests, Dr. Randall's ultimate goal is to promote self-empowerment through educated, healthy lifestyle habits.
Randall studied several techniques which he now brings to his practice including: Diversified, Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), Bio-geometric Integration (BGI), Activator, and Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT). He also experienced the healing potential of Nutritional Response Testing (NRT), which utilizes Applied Kinesiology to discover what nutritional supplements will assist in the body's natural ability to heal itself. He has furthered his study of Applied Kinesiology through his Associateship with Dr. Chaz Shatzle at Back to Health Wellness since moving to Santa Fe in June 2016.
Dr. Randall holds a certification in the Webster Technique and offers gentle chiropractic adjustments for pregnant women to help them find comfort and adapt to their changing bodies. He also offers nutritional therapy to help with the high demand of changing hormones and nutritional needs during the prenatal and postpartum periods. Dr. Randall's work with babies and children helps integrate residual birth trauma and provide ease in adapting to the various changes of childhood.
Dr. Randall is passionate about helping clients cultivate a healthy and conscious lifestyle through nutrition, chiropractic, movement, and a harmonious relationship with nature. His holistic approach honors the unique intelligence of the nervous system to invite more harmony, balance, ease, and abundant health. He believes the unique combination of chiropractic care and nutritional therapy can support individuals to better adapt to stress in its varied forms, while creating more embodied self-awareness and inner peace.
